Book Tribe is a web application for tracking personal reading activity. It allows users to log books read, record reading sessions, write notes and quotes, set reading goals, participate in reading circles, and access spelling challenges. A Premium subscription unlocks additional features.
Access to Book Tribe requires creating a free account with a valid email address. You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity carried out under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
Book Tribe offers a paid Premium subscription granting access to additional features. Current pricing:
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid.
Right of withdrawal: In accordance with EU consumer law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of subscription. To exercise this right, contact us at contact@book-tribe.fr. If you have already begun using the Premium features, a proportional amount may be retained.
You retain full ownership of all content you create on Book Tribe (notes, quotes, book reviews, reading logs). By posting content, you grant Book Tribe a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and store that content for the purposes of operating the service. We will not share your personal content with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules, without prior notice in serious cases.
Book Tribe is provided “as is”. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, or technical issues may temporarily interrupt access. We are not liable for any loss of data or opportunity resulting from service interruptions.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Book Tribe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in subscription fees in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or by a notice on the site at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts. For consumer disputes, you may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
